Care That Carries Weight™

Keynote Speaking • Leadership Workshops • Panel Moderation & Facilitation

Leadership doesn’t fail because people don’t care.
It fails because caring is rarely built into the system.

Cathy Dolan Schweitzer is a keynote speaker, leadership facilitator, and panel moderator who helps construction, healthcare, and A/E/C organizations retain their people, strengthen client trust, and lead through complexity — without burning out the teams that make success possible.

Drawing on 25+ years as a senior healthcare project manager — and the lived experience of being a patient in the environments she helped build — Cathy brings a rare combination of operational credibility and people-centered leadership insight.

Her work helps leaders move from getting projects done to getting them done well.

What Cathy Speaks About

Cathy’s talks focus on the intersection of leadership, culture, and performance — where people and projects either reinforce each other… or quietly break down.

At the heart of every talk is Cathy’s Systematic Caring Framework™:

Healthy People → Healthy Team → Healthy Project

Because projects don’t build themselves.
People do.

Speaking Formats

Cathy works with organizations in several formats depending on audience and objectives:

  1. Keynote Presentations (45–75 minutes)
  2. Interactive Leadership Workshops
  3. Conference & Association Sessions
  4. Panel Moderation & Facilitation
  5. Executive & Senior Leadership Sessions
All sessions are tailored to the audience — whether that’s executives, project managers,
superintendents, emerging leaders, or cross-disciplinary teams.

Why This Talk Matters

In construction and healthcare, leaders are expected to deliver faster, safer, and more efficiently — often with fewer people and higher emotional strain.

What’s usually missing isn’t effort.
It’s structure for how leaders care for themselves, their teams, and their clients — at the same time.

Cathy’s talks give leaders:

  • language for conversations they’ve been avoiding
  • practical tools to reduce friction and burnout
  • a framework that aligns people, performance, and purpose
  • permission to lead with both strength and humanity
This work doesn’t just improve culture.

It stabilizes teams, protects client relationships, and strengthens long-term performance.

About Cathy

Few speakers understand both the pressure of building healthcare projects and the human side of leading teams—Cathy Dolan Schweitzer does.

Cathy Dolan Schweitzer is the founder of Health Well Done, author of Health Well Done, and a professional speaker on leadership and culture in construction and healthcare. A former special education teacher with a master’s degree in Integrative Medicine, Cathy brings a rare blend of teaching skill, systems thinking, and human-centered leadership to complex project environments.

Her work was shaped further by being a cancer patient in the same environments her teams helped build—an experience that inspired her Healthy People → Healthy Teams → Healthy Projects framework. She has over 25 years of healthcare project management experience and has been a member of the National Speakers Association (NY) since 2013.
